If you're worried about a parent, you're not overreacting.

The subtle changes stay with you. A slower walk. A careful grip on the banister. A new complaint about knee pain that wasn't there last year. Most adult children wait too long before getting help, hoping the stiffness will ease, the limp will settle, the energy will come back on its own. It rarely does.

A structured physiotherapy programme, started early, can meaningfully reverse stiffness, rebuild strength and restore confidence in walking. For parents recovering from surgery, a stroke or a long illness, it's often the difference between regaining independence and settling for permanent limitation.

We work with families across Rishikesh and Tapovan who felt exactly what you're feeling right now. The first call is just a conversation. Tell us what's going on, and we'll tell you honestly whether we can help.

    What we help with

Most of our home visits are for parents in their 60s, 70s and 80s. Here's what typically brings families to us.

    Knee, hip & back pain

Chronic joint and muscle pain is the most common reason families call us. Manual therapy combined with gentle strengthening reduces pain within the first few sessions.

    Balance issues & fall prevention

One in three adults over 65 falls each year. Targeted balance and gait training meaningfully lowers that risk, and we assess home hazards too.

    Post-surgery recovery

Knee or hip replacements, spine surgery, fractures. Structured rehab is the single biggest factor in how well they recover long-term.

    Post-stroke & neurological

Patient, repetition-based work to rebuild movement, strength and confidence after stroke, Parkinson's and similar conditions.

    Arthritis & stiffness

Morning stiffness, painful grips, limited shoulder movement. All softened through hands-on therapy and daily movement routines.

    General weakness & bed rest

After a long illness or hospital stay, muscles weaken fast. Graded exercise rebuilds strength so they can walk, sit, and climb stairs again.

    How we work with seniors

Treating older patients isn't the same as treating athletes. The pace is slower, the cues are softer, and progress is measured in small but meaningful wins. Climbing stairs without a pause. Sleeping through the night without back pain.

    • Home visits, no travel stress

No car rides, no waiting rooms. We come to them, at a time that suits your family.

    • Gentle, hands-on methods

Manual therapy and guided movement, never aggressive. We adapt for joint fragility, medications and energy levels.

    • Family-inclusive updates

You get a short WhatsApp summary after each visit: what we worked on, what improved, and what's next.

    • Small, measurable goals

We set simple weekly targets you can see: less limp, steadier stairs, a better night's sleep.

    Questions families often ask

Honest answers to the things adult children worry about.

Is physiotherapy safe for someone in their 70s or 80s?

Yes, and it's often the single best thing you can do for them. We adapt intensity to their condition, medications and fatigue level. For patients with heart conditions, diabetes or osteoporosis, we work within safe limits and coordinate with their doctor when needed.

How many sessions will they need?

It depends on the concern. Simple pain issues often improve meaningfully in 4 to 6 visits. Post-surgical or post-stroke recovery is longer, usually 2 to 3 visits a week for 6 to 12 weeks. We give you a realistic timeline after the first assessment.

What if my parent resists exercising?

Very common. We keep sessions short, conversational and goal-led. 'Let's be able to walk to the market on Sunday' beats 'do twenty squats'. Once they feel the first small improvement, motivation follows. We don't push; we build confidence.

Can I be present during the session?

Absolutely encouraged. Many adult children sit in for the first session so they can see what we're doing and help with the home exercises. For WhatsApp updates afterward, just share a number.

Do you do post-surgery rehabilitation at home?

Yes. Knee replacements, hip replacements, spinal surgery, fracture fixations. Starting rehab early (but gently) is one of the biggest predictors of a full recovery. We coordinate with the treating surgeon where relevant.

    What areas do you serve?

Rishikesh city, Tapovan, Laxman Jhula, Swargashram and Neelkanth. If you're slightly outside, call us and we'll work it out.

What does a home visit cost?

Per-visit pricing with package discounts for longer treatment plans. Call or WhatsApp us for a clear quote based on the condition and visit frequency, with no hidden charges.
